Organizational Overview

Lee R. Lambert, PMP, after an 18 year, "hands-on career" in corporate and government project management, founded Lee R. Lambert & Associates in 1984. At the time, the organization was made up of a loosely constructed group of world-class project management consultants that functioned similarly to a Coop, providing specific Subject Matter Expert (SME) services to a broad base of clients on a skill, as-needed basis.

In 1999, Lambert Consulting Group, Inc. was formed to provide a more formal business structure and to capitalize on the potential of utilizing certain staff and their particular skills in a more efficient manner. Although we remain a small independent company, this new organizational arrangement has allowed us to expand our services and provide more training opportunities, in addition to our traditional consulting efforts.

To-date, Lambert Consulting Group has a combined project management related experience base of more than 150 years and since being formed, has conducted comprehensive Project Management Needs Assessments for major corporate clients in distinctly different business sectors. Fortunately for our clients, we still use the “SME network” approach to all of our endeavors, should a client’s needs be better met by an instructor with a different skill set. We have access to the best PM minds in the field, and we aren’t afraid to use them!
