Carl and Lee are going head-to-head to finally determine who is the best PM Educator in the world...and you can be "ringside" to watch the battle play out!
For some of you, you see the names Carl and Lee and you WANT to go! How did we make that happen? At 8:30am, Carl Pritchard kicks off the day with "Meeting Magic: Creating Meetings they WANT to Come To!" During his session, Carl will talk about the tricks, challenges and sleight of hand that changes your meetings from something your team members HAVE to attend, to something they ASK to attend! Carl provides simple tools and mechanics that change explanations into compelling stories and that alter the agenda from a pedantic piece of paper to a must-read thriller!
During the afternoon session, Lee present "Can You Handle the Truth?" He will answer the age old question..."What's the truth got to do with it?" Just about everything!! As project management professionals, our job is to find the truth, analyze it and communicate it to those who rely on it to make effective and productive project AND organizational decisions. But everyone knows what often happens to the messenger! This may the be most important learning opportunity a project management professional may ever have. Lee will teach you how to Prepare and Deliver Bad News in a way that not only aboids the "Kill the Messenger Syndrome," but results in establishing you as the go-to-person that takes lemons and turns them into lemonade.
